These Terms and Conditions apply to all tickets, bookings and visits to the Frosty's Wonderland ice rink, operated by Frosty's Wonderland Isle of Man Ltd ("we", "us" or "our").

By purchasing a ticket or attending the ice rink, you agree to comply with these terms, our rink safety rules and any reasonable instructions issued by our staff.

1. Your Booking and Tickets

1.1. Tickets must be purchased through the official Frosty's Wonderland website or an authorised sales point.

1.2. When booking online, please ensure your booking details and email address are correct. Check your selected date, session and ticket quantities before completing your purchase.

1.3. Following a successful booking, you will receive a booking confirmation and ticket email containing your tickets and QR codes. Check your junk or spam folder if you cannot find your emails.

1.4. Please bring your ticket QR code, either printed or displayed on a mobile device, and have it ready for scanning on arrival.

1.5. Each person entering the ice rink must hold a valid ticket, including children. Tickets must be valid for the relevant session.

1.6. Tickets are valid only for the date and session shown on the ticket. Admission is subject to availability, capacity limits and compliance with these terms.

1.7. Tickets must not be copied, duplicated or resold at an inflated price. Where duplicate tickets are presented, admission may be refused to anyone unable to demonstrate a valid booking.

1.8. We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove a visitor where reasonably necessary for safety, security, serious misconduct or a material breach of these terms, subject to applicable law.

1.9. Tickets are not automatically transferable between sessions. Please contact us if you need to request a change. Changes are subject to availability and our applicable booking policy.

1.10. Promotional offers and discounts may be available from time to time. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be applied retrospectively and may be subject to availability.

2. Arrival and Session Times

2.1. Please arrive in good time for your booked session so that you can check in, collect your skates and get ready to enter the ice.

2.2. On arrival, follow the signs and instructions from our staff. Have your QR code ready for scanning.

2.3. Customers wishing to purchase tickets on the day should go to the designated ticket counter. Walk-up tickets are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

2.4. Queues may form during busy periods. Please allow sufficient time for check-in and skate collection.

2.5. Your booked session includes the time required to put on and remove your skates. Please follow the session start and finish times and any instructions given by our team.

2.6. Arriving late will not normally entitle you to an extension, reduced ticket price or refund, except where required by law. Please contact a member of staff if circumstances outside your control affect your arrival.

2.7. Visitors may not enter the ice before their allocated session or remain on the ice after it has ended.

3. Ticket Prices, Cancellations and Refunds

3.1. Ticket prices will be displayed during the booking process. Any additional charges will be shown before payment is completed.

3.2. If you need to amend or cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Changes are subject to availability and our booking policy.

3.3. If you cannot attend your booked session, you will not normally be entitled to a refund solely because you cannot attend, arrive late or choose not to skate, except where a refund or other remedy is required by law.

3.4. If we cancel a session, we will contact affected customers using the details provided at booking. Where appropriate and available, we may offer an alternative session or date. If we cannot provide a suitable alternative, we will offer a refund in accordance with applicable law.

3.5. If the rink must close because of safety concerns, technical problems or other circumstances affecting safe operation, we will assess the situation and communicate the options available to affected customers.

3.6. If a session is interrupted or curtailed after it has started, any refund, replacement session or other remedy will be considered in the circumstances and in accordance with applicable law.

3.7. Refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method where possible.

3.8. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any statutory rights you may have.

4. Rink Safety Rules

Ice skating carries an inherent risk of falling, collisions and injury. All visitors must follow the rink rules, safety notices and instructions issued by our staff.

  • Skate within your ability and at a speed appropriate to the conditions and other skaters.
  • Look in the direction you are travelling and maintain a safe distance from other skaters.
  • Do not push, pull, deliberately obstruct, chase or behave recklessly towards other skaters.
  • Do not sit, lie down or remain stationary on the ice unnecessarily. If you fall, get up promptly if you can do so safely. If you cannot get up or are injured, alert a member of staff.
  • Follow instructions from rink attendants immediately. Staff may ask skaters to change direction, slow down, leave the ice or stop skating where necessary.
  • No food, drinks, chewing gum or glass containers are permitted on the ice.
  • Mobile phones, cameras and other handheld devices must not be used while skating. Stop in a safe area and leave the ice before using them.
  • No running, rough play, dangerous skating, throwing objects or deliberate collisions are permitted.
  • Skate aids must only be used as intended and in accordance with staff instructions. They must not be used to race, push other people or obstruct the rink.
  • Anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour creates a safety risk, will not be permitted to skate.
  • We may pause skating or temporarily close the rink whenever necessary to maintain safety.

5. Minimum Age and Adult Supervision

5.1. The minimum age for skating is 4 years old.

5.2. Children aged 4 to 7 inclusive must be accompanied on the ice by a responsible adult aged 18 or over who is wearing skates.

5.3. One supervising adult may accompany no more than three children aged 4 to 7 on the ice at any one time.

5.4. Children aged 8 to 11 should be accompanied by a responsible adult at the venue. Parents and guardians remain responsible for ensuring that children in their care behave safely and follow staff instructions.

5.5. Adults supervising children on the ice must be capable of skating safely and must actively supervise the children throughout the session.

5.6. Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether a child is able to participate safely.

5.7. Our staff may refuse participation where supervision arrangements do not meet these requirements.

6. What to Wear

We recommend warm, comfortable clothing suitable for winter conditions.

  • Long socks extending above the ankle.
  • Trousers or tracksuit bottoms.
  • Warm layers and a jumper or sweatshirt.
  • A waterproof jacket where appropriate.
  • Gloves to protect your hands if you fall.
  • A hat, provided it does not obstruct your vision.

Scarves must be tucked in securely so that they cannot trail or become caught. Hoods must not be worn up if they obstruct peripheral vision. Clothing and accessories must not create a hazard to you or other skaters.

7. Skate Hire and Equipment

7.1. Skate hire is included in the applicable skating ticket unless the ticket description states otherwise.

7.2. Skates are provided in a range of sizes, subject to availability. If you have particular sizing requirements, please contact us before booking.

7.3. Ensure your skates are correctly fitted and securely fastened before entering the ice. Ask a member of staff for assistance if you are unsure.

7.4. Do not use skates that feel loose, uncomfortable or damaged. Report equipment concerns to a member of staff immediately.

7.5. Visitors wishing to use their own skates must obtain approval from a member of staff before entering the ice. We may refuse equipment that is unsuitable or unsafe.

7.6. Skate aids are subject to availability and may be restricted to certain users or sessions. Please follow staff instructions.

7.7. Visitors must return hired equipment to the designated area at the end of their session. Charges may apply for equipment that is lost or deliberately damaged, subject to applicable law.

8. Weather and Ice Conditions

8.1. The ice rink is housed within a marquee, providing shelter from many weather conditions. However, temperature, humidity, wind and other climatic conditions may affect the environment inside the marquee and the surface of the ice.

8.2. A layer of water or softer ice may occasionally develop because of climatic conditions or the number of skaters using the rink. This can be a normal feature of ice skating and does not automatically mean that the rink is unsafe.

8.3. Our team will monitor the ice and take appropriate action where conditions require attention.

8.4. If ice conditions or other circumstances make skating unsafe, we may pause, delay or cancel a session.

8.5. Please dress appropriately for cold weather and allow for the possibility of getting wet if you fall.

9. Accessibility and Wheelchair Users

9.1. We want visitors to enjoy the rink wherever reasonably possible. Anyone with accessibility requirements or who wishes to participate using a wheelchair should contact us before booking so that we can discuss available arrangements.

9.2. Wheelchair access onto the ice, including ramp access, is subject to the venue layout, equipment, operational arrangements and a suitable safety assessment.

9.3. Wheelchair users must follow staff instructions and any agreed safety arrangements. An accompanying responsible person may be required.

9.4. Some sessions may be unsuitable or unavailable for wheelchair use because of capacity, other skaters or safety considerations. We will explain the options available when contacted in advance.

9.5. Please do not assume that every session can accommodate wheelchair use without prior confirmation.

10. Personal Belongings

10.1. Please keep personal belongings to a minimum.

10.2. Bags, rucksacks and other loose personal items must not be taken onto the ice.

10.3. Personal belongings must be left only in designated areas. Any lockers or storage facilities, where provided, must be used in accordance with displayed instructions.

11.4. We may request relevant information about an incident to respond appropriately, maintain incident records and meet our legal obligations.

12. Behaviour and Admission

12.1. All visitors must treat staff and other customers with respect.

12.2. Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, violent or seriously disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

12.3. Alcohol, illegal drugs and prohibited substances must not be brought into or consumed at the rink. Anyone whose behaviour or apparent impairment creates a safety risk may be refused admission or removed.

12.4. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the marquee or in any area where they are prohibited by law or venue rules.

12.5. Visitors must comply with additional notices displayed at the venue.

12.6. We may refuse admission or remove a visitor where reasonably necessary to protect the safety and enjoyment of others. Any refund will be considered in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

14.1. Visitors may take photographs in designated areas, provided they do not obstruct others or interfere with rink operations.

14.2. Cameras and mobile phones must not be used while skating.

14.3. We may arrange photography or filming for promotional purposes. Where identifiable individuals are to be featured in promotional material, we will provide appropriate notice and obtain consent where required.

14.4. Visitors who do not wish to appear in promotional photographs or videos should notify a member of staff. We will explain the arrangements available.

14.5. Photography or filming must not compromise the privacy, safety or reasonable expectations of other visitors, particularly children.

15. Personal Data and Privacy

16.2. Ice skating involves inherent risks, including falls and accidental collisions, even when reasonable safety precautions are followed.

16.3. We will take reasonable steps to maintain a safe environment, provide suitable equipment and operate the rink responsibly.

16.4. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

16.5. Subject to applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, provided we have acted appropriately and met our legal obligations.
